Parts located easily
An Air Force maintainer on an overseas deployment needed to repair a piece of critical legacy equipment and had difficulty finding the right part for the job. He needed to identify the part and reorder a replacement from half a world away and the clock was ticking. After extensive searching he was directed to Hose & Rubber Supply’s GMS division for help getting his system operationally ready.
Weeks before being contacted by the deployed airman; Hose & Rubber had provided hose configuration data to the responsible logistic center for this and other pieces of legacy equipment. By providing the engineers with a quick and easy part identifier they were able to direct our deployed airman to the right place to take care of his problem. After one email and a brief phone call we identified his parts and had a replacement ready to go within an hour.
Being proactive for our troops overseas we were able to get the right part to someone on the other side of the world. By working with the equipment engineers, we changed a daunting task into simple and streamlined. Hose & Rubber is now working with Pentagon planners to put the right materials in the field where they are needed.
